YCC Beach Dash...

 _ 2017 YCC Beach Dash Obstacle Run:

Join us for the 4th Annual YMCA Coastal Carolina Beach Dash on Saturday, March 25th at 11am. This year's event is at the beautiful Fort Fisher State Recreation Area in Kure Beach, NC. 

Dash down the beach and experience over 8 obstacles with various blast stations throughout! The first 300 to register will receive a cool tie dyed t-shirt, glittery participant medal, and a pair of sweet sunglasses! The sand and obstacles makes this dash a unique challenge for even the veteran mud-runner, but with a fun, no-pressure atmosphere including color blast stations, optional obstacles, and no chip timing - this event is great for the whole family! Teams registering at the same time receive discounted rates!

FAMILY FUN!

Bring the entire family for this fun filled event! The event is not timed and obstacles are geared for all ages and fitness levels! The Dash is approximately 1.4 miles in length with fun music, Zumba and snacks to follow the event! 

RAIN OR SHINE!

The YCC Beach Dash will take place RAIN or SHINE! However, in the event of high winds or other inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for safety reasons to the next weekend - Saturday, April1st. Please note, this is the inclement weather date is Easter weekend. In the event race directors do rescheduled, you will be notified via email no later than 8am on Saturday, March 25th.

YCC RUN SERIES:

The YCC Beach Dash is the ending celebration for the 2016 Old North State Wealth Management Run Series and the beginning of the 2017 Coastal Carolina Run Series. This year-round run series inspires the community to be active and have fun year-round. The 2017 YCC Run Series includes 12 events ranging in 1 mile fun runs to 10k road races. To participate in the series all you have to do is run, walk or dash in at least 3 of the 12 events.
