2nd Annual Cape Coral 5K Zombie Invasion...

Cape Coral's 2nd annual 5K FUN run will be invaded by a horde of flesh hungry ZOMBIES stumbling through the nature trails of Rotary Park! The zombie horde is expected to invade the park on the evening of Saturday, May 13, 2017. 

Register and choose to run/walk the 5K course as a HUMAN, in which you will be given a life belt with 3 flags (or chances to remain human). Finish the race with at least one flag and you have survived the apocalypse. Register as a ZOMBIE and undergo a make-up transformation at the transformation station before the race begins (please come already in costume 2 hours prior to race start time, only make-up will be provided) As a zombie, you will be assigned to designated areas throughout the course and will be expected to run, crawl, or stumble to collect the life flags from the humans. There will be prize categories for both HUMANS & ZOMBIES.

This is a "fun Run" and is NOT an officially timed event. 

The fun doesn’t stop there! Stay for our costume contest, enjoy food from local vendors, photo ops, and even a few surprises! Bring the family! Rotary Park is a beautiful ecological preserve for everyone to enjoy!

Cape Coral 5K Zombie Invasion Details & Schedule of Events

Rotary Park is ecological preserve and marshland that tends to be wet & muddy this time of year. You will be out on the nature trails that are uneven and rocky in places. Please dress accordingly and consider bug spray for the mosquitos. 

We strongly encourage you to pick up your race packets prior to the day of the event. Participants may pick up their race packets at the Red Headed Witches, 1910 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, anytime between 10 am - 7:30 pm from May 10 - 12. If you must pick up you packet at the event - Humans must arrive 30 minutes before your wave, Zombies must arrive 2 hours prior to event start time for make-up transformation and rules of the event.

Parking will be to the right off Rose Garden Road in the empty lot. (No parking allowed inside the park, with the exception of handicap parking).
