_ The 2021 Abominable Snow Race:

The Abominable Snow Race is a Winter Obstacle Race set on the Ski Hill at Devil's Head Ski Resort in Merrimac, Wisconsin.  We make snow for the event, so if Mother Nature doesn't deliver on her promise of Snow, the Mountain Ops Team at Devil's Head Resort will... We have 3 Event Categories to choose from, with 6 different Race Events in total:

  1. Open Events (Just for fun, No Awards/Timing is Optional $4)
    • Expedition Course:  4m/15obs (All Ski Hill) - Ages 12+
    • Adventure Course:  8m/20 Obstacles (Ski Hill and Technical Trail) - Ages 12+
    • Yeti's Challenge:  12m/35 Obstacles (1 Lap Adventure, 1 Lap Expedition) - Ages 12+
  2. Elite Events (Awarded and Timed - prices include timing chip)
    • Elite & Master's Elite: Adventure Course 8m/20obs - Top 3 M/W Awarded - Ages 17+
    • King/Queen of the Mountain Challenge (Most Laps of our Adventure Course) - Top M/F Awarded - Ages 17+
  3. LiL Yet Events
    • LiL Yeti's Course (Ages 4-11): 1/2 Mile 8 Obstacles - All Day Access

Spectators are Free.  Festival Parking onsite is $10 at the event.  Hotel Rooms are available at $99 a night (Call Devil's Head ot reserve) with Event Code "ASR2020".  Our Base Festival area includes Local Craft Beer, Vendor and Team tents, BBQ, Hot Chocolate, Sponsors, Games, Music, and More....Don't miss out on this Abominable Adventure!
