What Is CEF?

CEF of the Lowcountry is a volunteer children’s ministry similar to Vacation Bible School. We concentrate on setting up after school programs in our Lowcountry public elementary schools, homes, community centers, churches, or anywhere where children can easily gather in a safe environment with their parents’ permission. These groups are called Good News Clubs. All of the volunteer teachers are CEF trained and must have a background check.

Children today face an increasingly dangerous and hopeless world. Unchurched families in every country - and even locally in our community - have no legacy of faith to pass on to their children. They do not know the reason for our hope. Our mission as a nonprofit ministry is to reach every child with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
