UPDATE: We have rescheduled  our Winter Meet. It will be This Tuesday January 25, 20022. Same time and same place. You still have time to register. 

The Lynchburg Road Runners Club (LRRC) has an event for you.  Coach Jim Sprecher, Director of Track & Field and Cross Country at the University of Lynchburg, will lead us in a discussion of how to use scientific methods to develop individual training programs.  We guarantee that this will provide you with knowledge nuggets that you can incorporate into your daily running that will help you to run more efficiently - and, as we know, running more efficiently leads to better performance and reduced potential for injury. 

We will meet at the Aviary in Miller Park on Tuesday January 18th at 6:30 pm. And, since we're meeting at dinner time, we will feed you.  The event is free for members; for non-members, the cost is $5 per person.  If you're not a member, you may wish to consider joining since in addition to your membership supporting the local running community, discounts to LRRC events and on shoes/apparel at Riverside Runners effectively pays for your membership. Please join the Lynchburg Road Runners Club.

In addition to Coach Sprecher's talk, we'll let you know what the Lynchburg Road Runners have planned in 2022 and we need to take a quick vote on 2022

officers.  The proposed slate for 2022-2023 is:
