2023 Run for the Horses 5K ?

_ The 2023 Run for the Horses 5k Fun Run:

Join us on Saturday, April 15th 2023 at Pinchot State Park Sunnyside Pavilion to walk, trot, or gallop in our  2nd annual "Run for the Horses" 5k Fun Run. The course will wind through the beautiful trails of Pinchot State Park. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Central Pennsylvania Horse Rescue (CPHR) located in Lewisberry, York County, PA. CPHR is celebrating its 6th year of rescuing and re-homing horses. In just six years, we have rescued 140 horses who would otherwise have gone to slaughter. The fun run will begin at 10:00am. The first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative horse shoe. We will also have a variety of soups and bread for runners at the completion of the race (Vegetarian options available). There will also be a special appearance by a few of our rescued horses. The goal of this event is to raise funds for the horse's care and have fun. We ask that you run responsibly and recognize that you are participating at your own risk.
