2024 ASPIRE Wine 10K ~ Results

_The 2024 ASPIRE Wine 10K:

The ASPIRE Wine 10K is a USAT&F certified loop course which starts at City Hall / SoHo in Homewood, AL and continues through the city of Homewood. Runners will return to finish alongside City Hall / SoHo for the post-race celebration. We strongly recommend that you take time to familiarize yourself with the course prior to race day. Runners and walkers of all paces are welcome and encouraged to participate.

COURSE HYDRATION:
Hydration stations along the course will provide water and Powerade.
 
CANCELLATION STATEMENT:
This event will occur rain or shine, hot or cold. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances or as advised by authorities. In the event of cancellation, your entry fee will considered a donation to ASPIRE Sports Institute.

RRCA Alabama State 10K Championship

We hope to serve as the RRCA Alabama State 10K Championship event again in 2024.  We will update the site as soon as we know which event will serve as the championship event.

The ASPIRE Wine 10K was proud to serve as the 2023 RRCA Alabama State 10K Championship event. Since 1958, the RRCA has awarded championship events through a competitive bidding process at the National, Regional, and State level to RRCA member clubs and events to promote the sport of distance running. The RRCA Championship Event Series is the largest grassroots-organized running series in the U.S. with over 200 races participating that attract nearly 300,000 participants.

The goal of the RRCA Championship Event Series is to celebrate and shine a spotlight on well-run, community-focused events and to award top performing runners in the open, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior grand masters (60+) categories for both men and women.
