One of the most distinctive foot races on the continent.

The Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run is the zaniest winter running event in North America! Only the bold run the cold in this famous little northern border town of International Falls, Minnesota - aka the Icebox of the Nation! Choose between the 5K or the 10K - or if you are really tough....run both. The legendary Gizzard Girls will be on hand to register, assist and cheer on all racers! We hope to see all the runners at the Runner’s Reception after the race!

 

Race start and registrations located at Backus Community Center, 900 5th St, Intl Falls MN 56649

    •  Check-in and bib pickup available Friday 5pm - 7:30pm & Saturday beginning at 7:30am
    •  5K starts at 9am
    •  10K starts at 10am
    •  The Falls Education Foundation will be hosting a pancake feed from 7:30am to 11:30 am.  Free will donation.
    •  FYGBR Awards Ceremony for 5K & 10K Races at 11:30am (est.)
