_ The 2024 Race for the Grasshopper 5K:

 At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopper”.

Bib numbers and shirts can be picked up morning of the race or Friday Jan 5th from 5-7pm at Gotta Run Spartanburg. 

Race will start at 9am on Jan 6th 

This is an in person race at Cowpens Battlefield.  1 loop course on closed roads.
