2022 HES Anchor Run ~ Results..

_ The 2022 HES Anchor Run:

The HES Anchor Run is an event to support Haughton Elementary School. All proceeds will be designated for  PE and playground equipment. Join us for an exciting event and help us in supporting a local school in our community.

PLACE: Haughton High School 210 E McKinley Ave, Haughton, LA

DATE & STARTING TIME: Saturday, February 26th, at Haughton High School.

The ½ Mile Fun Run will begin @ 8:00am

5k will begin at 8:30am.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The 5k Run will begin in the parking lot of Haughton High School and will run through Cornerstone Subdivision and then back to the high school. 

The Fun Run will also start at the High School.

You may register at Haughton Elementary (cash or check- made payable to Haughton Elementary), online at www.sportspectrumusa.com, in person at Sportspectrum, or on Race Day starting @ 7 a.m. at Haughton High School at the gym.

Race Packet: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-Shirt.

Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport - 

Thursday, February 24, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.,

Friday, February 25, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or on Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at race site.

5k Registration:  All ages can register for the 5K.

Early Bird Registration is $15 through Friday, January 28.

Registration is $20 through Saturday, February 19.

Late registration is $25, Sunday February 20 - Race Day.

Fun Run Registration: Children 10 & under may register for the ½ Mile Fun Run.

Fun Run is $10 - flat fee

Sleep in Supporter: If you cannot be there, but still want to show your support. Pricing schedule is the same as 5k Registration. (You will still receive a t-shirt) 

RACE PACKET: Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum,

Thursday, February 24, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.,

Friday, February 25, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at the Race Site.

AWARDS: Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a special prize and a medal.

1st and 2nd place male and female 5K winners will receive medals in the following age groups: 8-under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

1/2 mile Fun Run Awards: Medals will be given for Overall 1st and 2nd Place Male & Female (age 10 and under).  Fun run ribbons will be given to each participant.
