The Rescue Run has a new venue for 2022!
Welcome back to Norris-Penrose Events Center / Bear Creek Park!

Back in the beginning... The Rescue Run Start/Finish was at Norris-Penrose Events Center - After many wonderful years at Palmer Park we are returning back to our roots! But rather than run on the streets, as we did then, we will be running on the trails of Bear Creek Park East.  We are excited to be back with a new course to welcome in the New Year for our 44th time!

  • NEW THIS YEAR: Start/Finish location change to: Norris-Penrose Events Center 1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80905
  • NEW THIS YEAR: 5K and 10K start together at 10:00am.  Start will be available for approximately 8-10 minutes after the group start.  Please cross starting line timing mats by 10:10am
  • NEW THIS YEAR: No race day registration. Online registration ends Dec 31, 6:00PM Mountain Time.
  • Please expect ice in places on trails. Wearing shoe traction is at your discretion
