Join us for this chilly adventure! A portion of the profits will go to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.

Registration and Check-in
3:00pm - 4:00pm
$50 race fee until 2/7, then $60

Extra headlamps will be available for purchase

Race Start - 4:30pm

Awards
Right after the final finishers we will have awards. It will be cold at the finish with little protection from the weather. Bring a chair, blanket, etc to stay warm. We hope to have a fire or 2 burning!

Course
Marked with reflective arrows at every turn. Vehicles should be at most trail interactions depending on conditions. Some turns will also be taped off. It should be very clear. It’s recommended to download the gpx and use GPS if you are not familiar with the tails.
Race will start on the GreenWay just South of the High School. It will proceed down the Hamburg Trail, past the DOE Containment “Mound”. At about 2 miles it will drop into the Lost Valley Trail and follow the double track and single track around counter clockwise.
It is a mix of crushed limestone, gravel, and dirt/rocky single track. Total distance is 13.5 miles.
Half Marathon Course Map

There is a “rain-out” course that follows the same start and finish but stays on the double track. It will reduce the race to about 10 miles

Race notes
Entirely self supported. Bring all your own hydration and calories.
You will need a headlamp. Recommend at least 100 lumens
There will be vehicles on course depending on conditions, for safety or if you can’t proceed.
In case of ice, Yaktrax are recommended
Trail running shoes are recommended
Dress for the conditions. It’s gets cold fast after sunset!
At the start and finish there will be water and Gatorade

Finish
Same location at the start.
Every finisher is given the ShITR car sticker and a cute hat!
We will have beer from Good News Brewing and HOT pizza.
