2022 Tortoise and the Hare Trail Races ~ Results

_The 2022 Tortoise and the Hare Trail Races:

Join us in celebrating with us Easter Weekend at the Tortoise and the Hare 5K & 10K!! The event continues to fundraise for the Salisbury Parks and Recreation. In addition to the 10K, with the newly developed trail system, we are able to also now offer a 5K run. This April we've decided to make the untimed 1 mile Color Run to encourage a less competitive/younger audience!!! All courses have been revamped and will be maintained within the beautifully developed trail system.

Packet Pickup/Race Day Reg: Opens at 8:45AM at the Hilton Senior Center (43 Lafayette Road). There will be no early packet pickup unless otherwise noted.

5K/10K Fees:
$20 through 2/1
$25 through 3/19
$30 through 4/10
$35 Race Week through --> 4/15 
$40 on Race Day 
**Youth 15 & Under  – $20 (no price increase)

New in 2022
1 Mile COLOR RUN (NOT TIMED) : $20 
This will start at approximately 10:30AM after the last 5K participant crosses the finish line! 
At each 1/4 mile mark, Color Runners are doused from head to toe in a different colored powder. Participants are encouraged to wear white shirts!!

Team Category: Own a business? Part of a running club? This is an easy and fun way to recruit your friends. Teams must consist of at least 3+ people. Prizes will be awarded for the largest & fastest team. 

Courses: 1mile, 5K and 10K all within the Salisbury Trail System

Swag: Dry fit, super soft custom t-shirt, guaranteed to all runners and walkers!

Awards:
Top Overall Male and Female Hare in the 5K and 10K – $50 Cash Prizes
Top 3 Male and Female in the 5K & 10K 
Largest Team (Participation Award)
Fastest Team (Cumulative score for the top 3 fastest runners, 1 must be a female) 

Parking: DPW and Hilton Senior Center, 39/43 Lafayette Rd., Salisbury, MA 
Overflow parking at the Boys and Girls Club.

Beneficiary: 100% of the net proceeds will be allocated to the Salisbury Parks and Recreation for the continued development of Partridge Brook Park.

Weather: This event will take place rain or shine.
