_ The 2022 Eddie Chambers 5k Run/Walk:

The Eddie Chambers 5k Run/Walk hosted by Mental Illness Awareness and Suicide Prevention (M.I.A.S.P.) is in honor of Manchester student Eddie Chambers who lost his battle with depression in 2016. Proceeds from the race will go to support M.I.A.S.P. and their mission to raise awareness around mental illness, work to prevent suicide, and support those in need throughout New Hampshire. In previous years, proceeds from events have gone to create a scholarship fund for NH students, an anonymous fund at the Greater Manchester Mental Health Center, as well as support of other local non-profit organizations that support mental health services in our community. The run/walk will take place Saturday June 25, 2022 10:00 A.M. on the beautiful campus of Southern New Hampshire University, with a communal green space at the heart of the race for participants and their guests to engage and enjoy themselves.  Race registration: Early bird price (through 4/30/22) of $20.  Children 12 and under and 62 and over $17. The regular registration period ($25) will commence May 1, 2022 thru Thursday, June 23, 2022 when online registration will close at midnight (Children 12 and under and 62 and over $22) . You will be able to register on-site until 30 minutes before the beginning of the race ($30). The first 50 registrants will also receive a race shirt.  Please note: While we love all pets we do ask that you do not bring yours to the race.
