_ The 2023 Winter Warrior Indoor Triathlon:

Fleet Feet Longmeadow and the Springfield Jewish Community Center are pleased to announce their collaboration on an exciting new indoor winter triathlon. This event will provide participants with a fun environment to test their swimming, biking, and running skills as well as to enjoy our local active COMMUNITY. Participants will swim as many lengths of the pool over a 10 minute period of time. From there, they will have 10 minutes to transition to the stationary bikes where they will ride for 15 minutes. Once off the bike, participants will have 5 minutes to transition to their treadmill where they will walk or run for 15 minutes. Total distance travelled determines your ranking overall!  General Information: Assigned start times will be based upon age and keeping age groups together (we can try to accommodate time requests, but this cannot be guaranteed). YOU WILL BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL ABOUT YOUR START TIME BY JANUARY 8TH. Awards will be given to the top male, female, and non-binary participants as well as the top finishers in the following age groups - 60+, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 19 & under. What to bring on race day (recommended): goggles, swim cap, swim suit, towel, easy-on athletic clothes, athletic shoes, socks, small bag, water bottle. All participants will receive a finisher's t-shirt. Additional shirts will be available for sale in the athletes' expo in the lobby of the JCC.
