Description:
Come meet new and old members with a short run or walk around Southport, followed by a casual light brunch on Sunday, February 19. Groups will cover various shorter distances at conversational paces starting at 8:20 AM from Wakeman Boys & Girls Club on Center St. in Southport (site of the Thanksgiving Day Race). Look for the Pequot banner and come inside and warm up and stretch before your run or walk. When you're finished, stretch your muscies and refuel with some light refreshments while getting to know the other club members. The event is free, as are the regular weekly Sunday runs. Just register so we can plan on food and the number of run and walk groups.
