About Life Moves Dance Company: Life Moves Dance Company consists of 24 local dancers, ranging in age from 7 through 17. After a successful inaugural season in 2022 - 2023, Life Moves Dance Company is expanding our 2023 - 2024 travels and attendance of conventions to Orlando, Florida, as well as attending multiple dance competitions this season. Your participation or donation for the Dance the Winter Blues Away - 5k, Walk, and Kids Fun Run can help our families cover some of the costs associated with building well-rounded dancers, providing vital dance experience at a convention, grow their determination and confidence by competing against other fantastic dancers, and allow each dancer to make memories that will remain with them for years to come.

About Girls on the Run: The vision of Girls on the Run is a world where every girl can know and activate her limitless potential. Girls on the Run values the individuality and dignity of all people and are dedicated to being an inclusive, diverse, equitable and accessible organization.  Throughout the Girls on the Run program, trained volunteer coaches inspire girls to build confidence and other important life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons, physical activity, and understanding the importance of physical and emotional health. Key focuses of Girls on the Run for America's youth: Understanding and learning more about ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork, recognizing how we can shape the world at large, become independent and critical thinkers, develop skills to write their own stories, and find inner strength through physical activity!
