2024 Advocates See Me 5K

The 2024 Advocates See Me 5K Run, Walk, and Roll:

Join Advocates on Sunday, May 5, 2024 for our 5k and 1 mile run, walk, or roll to celebrate all abilities. Help spread the message that a person with any challenge or disability is a person, not a diagnosis. See the person! See the individual! See me!

Bring the whole family! Family-friendly activities include a fun run, face painting, balloon animals, games, and more. Refreshments will be provided.

This year's race will include prizes for both individuals and teams. Individual prizes include those for overall top finishers (male, female, and non-binary), and top finishers in the following age categories: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60+.

There will be FOUR team prizes this year!

1) BIGGEST TEAM: Biggest team represented at the race wins! Check in at 10 a.m. at the registration desk for a head count! Team can consist of participants of the 5K, 1-mile and kids fun run! All team members must be present to win!
2) FASTEST 5K TEAM: The fastest four 5K times from the team are added together.
3) MOST CREATIVE TEAM NAME: Names that give us a chuckle earn extra points!
4) MOST TEAM SPIRIT: Show your team pride and camaraderie by cheering each other on, wearing team outfits, and making noise!

Registration
Registration is open through Friday, May 3, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Register as an individual or as a team!

T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 250 registrants. All subsequent registrants will receive a t-shirt, if available, based on registration date. Same-day registration on race day is available between 8:00 a.m. and 10 a.m. Checks, credit card, and cash are accepted for payment. Please don't wait to register - previous years have sold out up to a week before the event!

Race Day Schedule
8:00AM -10:30AM: Registration packet pick-up
8:30AM: Vendors and kids activities open
9:45 AM: Kids fun run (50 yard and 100 yard fun run)
10:00 AM: Opening remarks by Advocates CEO Diane Gould
10:15 AM: DJ invites participants to line up, moment of silence, and national anthem
10:30: 5K and 1-miler kick off
11:15 AM: Awards and closing remarks
12:00 PM: Event Ends

Race Packet and Bib Pick-up
Race packets and bibs will be available for pick up on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Advocates' Main Office at 1881 Worcester Road, Framingham, MA 01701. Race shirts and bibs can also be picked up the morning of the race beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the registration booth.

Race Course and Accessibility
The course will take you through scenic Hopkinton State Park.
The course is on pavement with some rolling hills and fully handicap accessible.
The 1-mile course is untimed. ASL interpreters are confirmed for this event.

Walk, run, or roll! Walkers, joggers, runners, strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs are welcome. Due to safety concerns, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, racing wheelchairs, or racing handcycles are not permitted.
