Sunday, January 18 Location: Lake Metroparks Jordan Creek Park Start Time: 9:00 AM On a crisp, icy morning in the heart of winter, runners gathered for the Frigid 5 Miler, a race unlike any other. Join us to remember the day you would brave the cold, test your endurance, and share the course with a most unusual participant: a yeti! The runners are joined by a playful yeti mascot bounding alongside them, waving, cheering, and occasionally darting ahead to stir up laughter. The Pancake Feast After crossing the finish line, participants are welcomed indoors to thaw out.
Awaiting them will be a pancake breakfast—stacks of golden, fluffy pancakes dripping with syrup, butter melting into every bite. Don't forget to stop over to the TVs to check out your time and see if you placed for an age group award!
